Parking

As you arrive at Journey Church, be aware there is a paved parking lot in front of the building with First Time Guest Parking spaces as well as Handicap Accessible Parking spaces. There is also some limited general parking in this lot.  Across the street is more parking in our gravel lot.  If the main lot is full and you park in the gravel overflow lot, know we have a team of folks that will offer you a ride across in a golf cart, rain or shine.   The carts make regular loops through the lot so it you don't see them at first, rest assured, they will be around momentarily to collect you (and family) if you choose to take a ride.

Welcome inside

As you enter the building, you should be greeted by someone on our Host team.  Let them know you are new here and they will be sure to get you to someone on our New Here? Team!  Our New Here Team will be your guide to finding your way around.  If you have children or middle school teens, they will assist with getting them checked in to JKIDS (Children) or Launch Point (Middle School)!

**We highly recommend that you pre-register HERE for a quicker experience during your first visit.**

Join Us in the Auditorium

Worship time begins promptly at 9AM and 11AM and typically consist of two to three songs followed by prayer.  Next you will enjoy a challenging message from our Pastors, Mark or Matt.  Following the message there is typically one more song and the opportunity for prayer with our Prayer Team before the service is dismissed.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) about jkids

  • The Bible is the most amazing book ever written, and we strive to bring its stories to life through creative activities and discussions that keep kids engaged. We want every child to love God 's Word and understand the value of applying it to their lives. We know they'll have fun each week as they learn about who God is through games, activities, small groups, and video teaching.

  • Absolutely! Our room environments and lessons are designed to help your child grow with kids in the same age group. We're passionate about supporting them in each stage of life, so we provide JKIDS options from birth-5th grade during all of our weekend experiences. Students in 6th-8th grade are invited to our Sunday morning youth experience, Launch Point. When you commit to attending the same service each week, your child will be surrounded by a small group full of familiar faces. As kids build relationships with leaders and other children, they gain the support and confidence to grow in their faith.

  • On your first visit, look for the JKIDS Check-In area. If you can't find it, one of our volunteers will be happy to help you!  At Guest Services, you'll be welcomed by a LifeKids volunteer eager to meet your family and show you how LifeKids works. To check your child in, we'll need some information at that time, including a family member's name, your child's name and birthday, your address, your phone number, and any special instructions. We'll be there every step of the way, right up to when you drop your kids off at the appropriate room, so feel free to ask questions!

  • In JKIDS, safety is one of our highest priorities. That's why we have a secure check-in system. Upon check-in, you'll receive matching identification stickers. Your child will need to wear their name tag sticker and you will need to keep the matching tag. After the service, you'll show the JKIDS leader your matching tag in order for your child to be released from their room. Every JKIDS volunteer leader is screened, participates in a background check, and receives appropriate training from our staff. Additionally, our hallways are monitored by our background-checked safety team during each experience to make sure your child stays safe and secure. In the event that we need to contact you during the service, we can either send you a text message or share your child's last name and identification code on the screen in the auditorium.
